I decided to keep EE2 alive. I made new, unofficial patch to Empire Earth II: 1.3

What's new in patch 1.3?
- No CD/DVD needed to start game. Players with all EE2 versions can play now Multiplayer together
- Added widescreen resolution (1600x900) - Graphic looks now much better on 17' laptops and other widescreen monitors.
Why I did NO-CD needed?
On Empire Earth II were 3 parts of players:
1. With CD version
2. With DVD version
3. With cracked version
We couldn't play together. It was bad, because Empire Earth II wasn't very active, so we were losing more, and more players.
Now, when everyone can start EE2 from same file - more players can play together in Multiplayer.

Is this to say you know how to change the resolution presets???
All I could do was find an exe online that did it semi-automatically and overwrote the least-popular resolution with one of your specification. It worked nicely, But I wanted to replace ALL but the lowest res with custom resolutions, since I don't know anyone who even still has a 4:3 monitor. All 16:9.

I used: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pureskill/uniws.zip
To replace resolution from 1280x960 on 1600x900, then I compared new file with old file in HEX editor, so I knew which values change resolution on 1600x900.
I knew that some players still use 4:3 monitors, so I changed resolution 1600x1200 on: 1280x960.
That's why in EE2 resoltions are different named now. I didn't know how to change it
I tried to replace lowest resolutions (800x600) on 1600x900, but when I did it - buttons and font size was very small and it looked weird.
Everything depends by monitor now, if monitor don't support resolution 1600x900, then it just don't show option 1280x960, but if it support 1280x960, then it show 1600x1200 in options
